no problems for me . i updated 2.40 into 5 recievers 90000 HD extreme and all are working fine.

Load 2.31 version
factory reset 2 times
load 2.31 version again
factory reset 2 times
now scan all channels again ( Dont use backup file).

if you face any bug or halt issue in any version. Do the following.

Factory default 2 times
Load new version
Factory default 2 times
Load new version again
Factory default 2 times
Now scan and set channels again ( Dont use any backup file)

This method has always worked for me.
