Which is best satellite receiver 2018

Dear very much confused reading this thread, some brothers suggest Tiger T8 and some suggest Starsat 2000 Extreme. If we compare these two, which one is best in Video quality and fast working. Pls advise, Thanks

You Will Get 2 Remotes (One Remote Has Radio Sensor Which Works From A Distance of 30 Feet) And Wifi Antenna With Starsat 2000 Extreme.
And HDMI Cable Aswell.Even Starsat 2000 Hyper Remote Works On It And Hyper's Remote Is Easily Available Everywhere

You Will Get Only One Remote With T8 High Class Its Replica Remote Is Not Available In Market Easily.You Won't Get Any Wifi Antenna With It And You Will Get HDMI Cable With It.

I Would Rate Tiger Ahead Slightly On Picture Quality Terms As Tiger Supports 1080P @60HZ Where As Starsat 2000 Extreme Is 1080P @50HZ

You Can Move/Sort Channels In Favourite Lists In Tiger T8 High Class But You Cannot Move Channels In Favourite List In Starsat 2000 Extreme (I Remember I Had To Add Channels One-By-One In Favourite Lists In My Receiver As There Was No Option To Move Channels )

In Terms Of Channels Changing Speed Starsat 2000 Extreme Is Better.

In Terms Of Software Support Starsat Is Much Better Than Tiger. As Starsat SW,Dump Files,Tutorial,Loader Are Easily Available

I Want To Clear One More Thing HUM News HEVC On Paksat Is Not Working On Starsat Extreme But Is Working On Tiger T8 High Class I Have No Idea What The Heck Is Issue As All Other SUN HD And Tamasha HEVC On 26E Is Working Very Well On Starsat 2000 Extreme But No Idea Why HUM News Is Not Working Anyways Hum News Is Also Available On Paksat 1R KU

Tiger T8 High Class Has Only 3 Month Of IPTV Where As Starsat 2000 Extreme Has 1 Year Of Appollo IPTV

Even Tho It Is 4K UHD But Doesn't Has Good SW/Plugin Support. Sony 105E Is Not Working On It. It Also Has Some Other Faults Like Sony Six HD Doesn't Work (66E )On It.And It Is Linux.You Will Have To Connect To It Via DCC
I Mean To Enter Key/Cline You Will Have To Use DCC. Which Is Sometimes Very Irritating

Its Company Server Is Rubbish 3 Month HDR Cam With Only Dish TV SD Working In Asian Packages

It Doesn't Have Auto Power VU And Biss Key Function.

If You Are Not Interested In Power VU And Feeds And Only Want To Watch Sun HD/Videocon D2H Or FTA 4K Channels Then You Can Go For Xcruiser

I Would Suggest You To Wait Because Currently Most Of The 4K Receivers Which Are Out Are Not Worth Buying

Good suggestion.Currently using Starsat hyper 2000HD.Just checked hevc result HD. I am personlly convinced Starsat SR 90000 Extreem. But some experts says there is no much difference between 2000 extreem and 90000. T8 is good suggested but an expert prefer extreem 90000.The good thing is in 4K android receiver is latest technology good speed as increase of RAM and processor. Procedures are difficult to understand.

Dear I am not an expert but according to my experience. 4k reciever have not yet dominated the satellite world specially in our region I mean indo-pak region, only few channels have resulution of 4k but None of the Indian or pakistani Channel have yet launched there transmission in full 4k. But nowadays some of the channels are moving to hevc(h 265) (ex: hum network in pak, sun direct in India) and I think there is no space for 4k for indo pak region for atleast next 3-5 years. So best option is hevc supported reciever example. Xtreme series of starsat and t8 high class from tiger these boxes are best nowadays not only they offer excellent pic quality but they also offer fast software support with forever server. Hevc is cheap price while full 4k is v expensive with less software support and less channels availble in 4k.
