Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Wednesday conducted public hearing for grant of DTH licenses to two successful bidders from ISLAMABAD

1- M/s Shahzad Sky (PVT) Ltd, Islamabad
2- M/s Star Times Communication Pakistan (PVT) Ltd, Islamabad.

Please note the 3rd Company Mag Entertainment (PVT) Ltd, Lahore will get licence in LAHORE later this month

Director M/s Shahzad Sky, Mr Shahbaz Zaheer and Directors M/s Star Times Communications Mr Atif Rais Khan and Mr Gu Xun represented their respective companies in the hearing that held at PEMRA headquarters. Various stakeholders including general public were present on the occasion.
The public hearing was conducted in pursuance of Section 24(2) of PEMRA Ordinance 2002 read with Clause 9.3 & 11.2 of PEMRA (Eligibility Criteria Procedure for Direct-To-Home (DTH) Distribution Service Licensing) Regulation 2016. The public hearing was conducted by the committee chaired by Director General & Project Director (DTH), Engr Dr Mukhtar Ahmed, Director General Licensing Broadcast Media, M Wakeel Khan, General Manager Licensing Broadcast Media, Sajjad Ahmed and Deputy General Manager DTH, Saeed Ahmed.

Yeh jo abhi PEMRA nay aik takreeb ki hai woh Pemra law ka tehat zarori thi.

Abhi Ministry of Interior kay through verification process jari hai.

1/2 months mai baqaida tor pr DTH LICENSE issue ho ga.
