I'm bumping an old thread, but is this still the case? I'm curious why NDS is trickier compared to others!

Search for an option like "Cable Scan". Don't expect any channels to clear though!

This works for me, try to match it as much as possible and see if that helps. I'm using OScam r11420 (clean build, un-patched plugin available in OpenPLi 6.2) in a DM800SE clone and only 1 reader . Eventually the zapping speed might very well come down to the box specifications.

TP-LINK TL-WN725N works for me, so should work for you too. This is probably the most popular little device at the moment. Just plug-and-play!

To be fair to OP, Xcruiser boxes do have Videoguard option under Keys section.
