What do you guys have in place to make sure that your antenna does not get moved by winds/storms? I am having problem with 6' (Visiton with default stand) antenna but I know some of you have even bigger antennas. My last attempt which has survived many storms (but not today's) involved using two 2 ...

i have been using moving dishes, mesh dishes since 1998. and I feel sorry to say that the quality of dish stands is degrading with every passing year. back then every dish had a tri-pod type stand which u can fix with bolts or cement and it will never get moved due to storm/strong ...

Sorry for being Late on reply as i was very busy this week.

Anyways-
I ve installed the dish last night .

Initially i was not getting good result when i tried to use rod wala feedhorn.

I changed the feedhorn to simple cheap 70 rupees wala and the result then was amazing.

Here is ...

I had problems with installation of dish because

1. i was not getting any signal with new rod wala feed horn
2. The weather condition in peshawar was not good. it was windstorm here on 11 and 13th may

3. it rained here on 14th may - and in the interim when it stopped i kept trying and trying ...
