Lg stylus3 wifi problem with sr2000 extreme

I have. Sr2000extreme stb and lg stylus3 mobile.
When i connect it via hotspot with a password on it.....it connects very hardly.....but when i remove password from mobile hotspot then it connects easily...
Plz tell me what is wrong with my devices???
