Reports in Italy claim Arsenal are tracking Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco. The Italy international is out of contract in the summer and there's been no word of talks over a new deal for the 27 year old.
11:11
Petr Cech has been speaking about his appearance off the bench for Chelsea at the weekend and he's not done anything to quell any rumours of a possible departure either in January or next summer.
It was a clearly unfortunate accident. It was obvious that Sanchez was in full run and had nowhere to hide. The main thing is Thibaut is fine. He just did not feel 100 per cent to finish the match, that is why the substitution took place. The change was not made due to performance reasons. I don't think anything will change but it is up to the manager.
11:04
Liverpool have opened talks over a new contract for Jordan Henderson, whilst discussions continue over a similar new deal for Raheem Sterling, although Glen Johnson is unsure of his future.
10:55
Wolves remain confident of keeping hold of Bakary Sako in January. The Mali winger has scored five times already this season but Kenny Jackett is convinced he's going nowhere.
He is well-liked and respected here and he has a fantastic attitude. He is under contract to us and he is very, very happy here. When we were down in League One there were different rumours about whether anyone would come in for him. We are very pleased to have him here and from my point of view long may it continue. I am sure that as the club keeps improving and keeps competing at the top part of this league it will help us.

Speaking of Arturo Vidal, it was only yesterday he claimed there were no truth to the summer rumours he was heading to Manchester United.
Never once I asked my agent or to Juventus if something was going on. I have a pact with my agent, if there is something concrete it's up to him to let me know. And he never called. I don't know exactly what happened during the summer months, but I think nothing really important.
10:35
News from Italy suggests the future of Arturo Vidal at Juventus is unclear after an alleged incident outside a nightclub. According to Gazzetta dello Sport the Manchester United target was dropped at the weekend because of it and Juve Sporting Director Beppe Marotta has apparently told Rai TV:
South American players have a particular way of living and celebrating. We must mind him, but as for the technical point of view we can say nothing. A fine of 100.000 euros ? Maybe is not so much.

Plenty more to come from that Morgan Schneiderlin interview, but while we're waiting have a listen to our Transfer Talk audio feature including news of a potential arrival and departure at Liverpool.

Speaking of the infamous tweet where he first revealed his frustration to the Southampton fans, Morgan Schneiderlin told France Football it was a pivotal moment in his summer transfer saga.
I thought: ‘I just played in the World Cup after 2 good seasons in Premier League. I always shut up. I can’t stay in a team that will play for salvation. I need to reach a new level.’ So I told them: ‘You don’t respect me, you don’t respect your words, you treat me like cattle.’ They defended their interest and I defended mine. My tweet after the meeting? I know there are opportunities you can’t miss. That is why I was upset. After that meeting, I had to show I disagreed. With that Tweet I wanted people to understand the situation. In 5 seconds I saw what social networks are. It is like a bomb. That tweet was a key moment in my career.
10:12
Talking more about that meeting where Morgan Schneiderlin was told he wasn't for sale the France midfielder had this response:
I told them I signed for a project that was supposed to keep the best elements to go higher. And before that meeting, Lallana, Lovren, Lambert, Luke Shaw and Chambers all left. I asked my-self: ‘That is not the same situation anymore, that is not possible. What are they doing?’ At that moment, Southampton didn’t hire anyone yet. Chambers signed at Arsenal the day before our meeting. And the club started to see the fans were getting mad. They thought: ‘If Morgan will leave, the stadium will be burnt.’ So they guaranteed us: ‘Morgan is not for sale. We won’t listen to anything. Morgan will stay. That is the project. There is nothing more to say.’ It was a real shock to me. I thought: ‘Why do they block me while I gave my very best and experienced everything with that club.’ Of course, I was angry.

Stand by Southampton fans for some incredible quotes from Morgan Schneiderlin who has opened up to France Football about the summer sales at St Mary's, how he nearly left the club and his feelings at being told to stay.
Was the meeting with Southampton officials on July 29 tense? Yes. During the last months, there was interest from clubs. 3 clubs and among them Tottenham. Since February-March, I and my agents talked with Southampton about a possible departure. The club always told me they will sell me for the right price. Me and my agents went to that meeting on July 29, with a very serene state of mind, with very exciting propositions. To me, with my 6 years spent at Southampton and what I always gave to the club, everything should have been sorted out during that day.

Here's the full story on the news we brought you earlier that Sky Sports understands Stephen Warnock is happy at Leeds and has not made a formal complaint to the PFA about his treatment at the club.

Sticking with Manchester United and one new signing has been praising another.
