Kodi Live TV & PVR with Enigma2

The PVR function of Kodi is still relatively new. It works well though and offers plenty of backend options. I am using a Dreambox but this tutorial will work for any devices running Enigma2.

Requirements: Kodi and a box running Enigma2

1. Open Kodi and navigate to SYSTEM > Live TV > General and select the enabled radio button. Changing the settings level to Expert will open up more options.





2. Next we install the PVR plugin that is required. The pop up should take you directly to the PVR plugin page, but if not, it is found in SYSTEM > Add-ons > Get add-ons > All Add-ons > PVR Clients

3. Select VU+ / Enigma2 ClientAdd-on and this window

4. In the GENERAL tab enter you Dreambox IP address and change the other options if required.

5. In The CHANNELS tab you can set your bouquets. Due to having a motorised dish I have dozens of bouquets which isn’t very useful on Kodi as there is no EPG unless you are constantly updating CrossEPG
To make my system usable I have created a bouquet named XBMC which is a list of favourites from SkyUK which always has a 7 day guide.

6. Next add you Dreambox network settings. These are set to the default settings, so update them if you have changed yours.

7. Live TV now shows as an option on the main Kodi window[/center]

I have Domica image installed in my DM 800 HD se which i purchased from Masood but unable to connect my dreambox from my laptop i used to do that previously to watch tv on my laptop

Yes ye sab se zaroori cheez hai aur main har user ko keha karta hon without proof and without test kabhi kuch upload na karen .because every one here is not expert and every one here just believe what u do or say .
