we can never use GSM sim in evo wingle because EVO have cdma or EV-DO modem and you need a GSM capable modem to run any network sim rather than the old one evo's which could be unlocked but now these are rare in the market...

@Masood if your receiver have wifi then the cheapest solution for you is a android cell phone capable of wifi hotspot and you can get it used on in 2k to 3k max like gt-s5360 ,5301 etc..

If you buy a separate usb modem it will cost you minimum 2k and a ptcl wifi modem to share internet will be another 1k but if light goes you cant use internet and after setting all this stuff you need place to keep this aside...but you can buy a good usb wifi modem to but it will cost you same like the previous setup i mean minimum 3k...
But usb wifi modems get hotter while continuously running then you have to remove it from power source, cool it down and connect it again i have same problem with my wingle and many friend have encountered same type issue..

Now android phone wins here its also gets hot but it will run until battery drains compeletly
a fully charged battery gives you a 4 to 6 hours cycle and no power issue too you can use wifi on your cell phone if power fails..
