much appreciable post :o
The feed horn which is being used by me is simple one ONLY available in local market without adjustment ring...I checked the result of Horizons 2 @85* after installing new rods and couldn't find a single signal ...may be focal length was not up to standard :idea:
today I removed new rods and has planned to make another holes inside slightly to decrease focal length accordingly.

@chaser!!!
as you suggested in another thread that till dish's stand level is not even to the surface ,the signals access may not be possible.
Normally when I use to access any sat I keep my position behind the dish while inclining/declining slightly and it makes no effect of even or uneven surface when dish is floating during SAT search.
My roof's surface is not so smooth or in level as per requirement...after SAT search I make the base maximum in level by placing various wooden pieces under the dish stand.

Dear Masood ,that requirement is only for motorized system for better arc adjustment and accurate tracking of SATs.

Masood wrote:found this formula from a board but was not confirmed by any one
Dish ki lambai : 96 inch
Dish ki chaurai: 96 inch
Dish ki Gehrai : 12 Inch
96 inch Zarab 96 inch = 9216 Taqseem 16 = 576 Taqseem Gehrai 12 inch =48 inch ( Rod ki Lambai ). 48 inch aapke lnb ka focal point hai. yani aapki dish ki gehrai aur lnb ke darmian ya fasla hona chahye.
koee sahib issko confirm ker day ..I will be much obliged.
jawab denay ka paishgi shukrya ;)

Dish kutch iss kissm ki hay

by default the rods length is 54 inches with holes if dish size is 96 inches.....my dish size is almost 100 inches and may be its requirement would be 57 inches.
but as advised by chazer focal length can be decreased/increased by moving LNB forward and back thru feed horn.
