my question is that
1- how to make backup of installed image which one is gemini project 2 sim 2.01 bootloader #84
2- how to make multiboot usb for different images

first these 2 questions then i will go for others

for backup use dflash i did not ever used gemini 2 i used gp3 april patch by rami maher and for mutiboot use barry allen
mount a usb through device manager and format it in ext3 now install barryallen it will automatically install in usb now restart system and go to plugin there you will see barry allen




now first of all configure your remote control because if it is not configured you will not scroll between images @ boot time
see remote configuration according to your model

event0/1 for dm800 and 7025
event2 for dm8000






now connect dcc or any ftp program and send your desiredimage.nfi in MB_IMAGES (this folder will be in media/ba/ba)



image name must be short 15 characters or less and no spaces other wise it will create problems now go in barrey allen menu wizard for mb_images





after this dm will reboot and select image to boot 1 is internal flash and second is in external flash

note all images do not proper work in external flash i tested gp3 on internal flash and openatv 4.0 on external flash worked fine for me

i spend 2 hours but fail 1st and 2nd steps are ok but when i transfer the image file to ba/ba after 8.34 mb it stop and no more .i notice that my flash drive is there but image is saving in internal hdd. what i am missing????

Why you want to make a backup ? , Whenever you face any error or image crash, mostly you need to Flash a Image again

u r easily bacup openpli,merlin3,gp3 ,Newnigma2

for openaff and open atv image use dflash atv mood plugh

for black hole use
USB backup script from addon and
Now with your USB stick formatted to fat32 and connected to one of the rear usb ports press the Green then Blue button and highlight USB Backup and then press OK.

Your backup will start.

for multiboot image use
use enigma2-plugin-extensions-tsflashbackup_84b-2_mipsel.ipk plugh
