Spurs will still be having nightmares about last season's meetings with Manchester City - they lost this fixture 6-0 and also suffered a 5-1 pounding at home. A third different manager in three meetings with City will take charge in the form of Mauricio Pochettino but it's fair to say he is still moulding his group of players. There are signs of progress and they will likely be happy to sit sixth, although given the results of other big teams so far in the campaign there may be a touch of disappointment that some iffy results have kept them outside the top four. They did draw with Arsenal on their travels but were torn apart by Liverpool at the Lane in scenes reminiscent of what happened against City last term which has to be a worry as they head north. One of their biggest destroyers in those games was Sergio Aguero and he may be the route to profit in this one. The Argentine is looking sharper than at any time in 2014 having seemingly shaken off the injury issues which dogged him during the second half of last season. One of the matches in which he got injured was the game at White Hart Lane but by the time he left the pitch he'd already done plenty of damage, scorind the opener and tearing into the Spurs defence. He also scored twice in the game at the Etihad. Aguero has already bagged six in nine appearances this season and hasn't been afraid to get an early shot away - always a sure sign that he's in good form. The one concern I have is that he's just back from international duty in Hong Kong - he was an unused sub in his side's 7-0 win on Tuesday - which leaves the possibility of Manuel Pellegrini instead choosing players who've notched up fewer airmiles, such as Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic. However, backing Aguero to net the first goal largely eliminates that problem as stakes will be refunded if he's not on the pitch when the opener is scored. Yes, he could come on late doors if it remains 0-0 but I'd expect goals in the game and so am happy to play at 4/1
Aguero can take City to victory
