The minimum hardware requirements to run Windows 8 are :
# 1 GHz or faster processor
# 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
# 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
# DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 10 or higher driver.
Just Follow Below Given Steps for Installing Windows 8 Operating System that will take few minutes:
Step 0: Insert the Windows 8 installation disc into your DVD or Blu-ray reader. Start from the disc
Step 1: Press any key when it is asked to do, to start the Windows 8 Installation Setup
Step 2: Wait few seconds
Step 3: Choose the Language to Install, Time and Currency format and Keyboard or input method according to your need and Click on Next
Step 4 : Click on Install Now
Step 5 : Preparation continued, Wait
Step 6: Enter the Product Key (Activation Code) and Click on Next.
Step 7: Read and Accept the License Terms and Click on Next.
Step 8: Choose Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)
Now you are asked where you want to install Windows? Select where you want to install Windows 8.
Note: If your System has formatted partitions, select the partition on which you want to install Windows 8 and skip to step 14, otherwise:
Step 9: click on Drive Option
Step 10: Choose delete partition
Step 11: Click Ok
Note: If you delete a partition, you lose all data that was on that partition
Step 12: You can also delete second partition contain old data (Usually small than 100 MB)
Now you have only one partition
You can divided it later to more than one
In the same way, for Windows 7
Step 13: Click next to start installation
Step 14: Now the Installation process will Start, Wait for the installation process to finish, it might take 20 to 50 Minutes, Depends on your System.
Step 15: Your System will start Automatically. You can also Restart manually by just clicking on Restart Button.
Step 16: Your System will reboot and Windows start getting your devices ready.
Step 17: These options can be adjusted and controlled later
Step 18: Now the customization process for your Windows 8 installation Starts. Select the Name you want to set for your system and also Select a theme color and Click on Next.
Step 19: if you want to use default setting, choose Use express Settings
Step 20: Enter your email address to continue
Step 21: Windows 8 will take a few seconds to finalize your all Settings
Step 22: one! Now You are logged on to Windows 8 for the first time
Step23: Now you can eject the Windows 8 installation disc.
