Hello

All these times are depending on the image you are using.

I think that the faster boot can be achieved with OpenPli image.

If you use an image like Black Hole with many plugins built-in then the time needed for booting can be increased dramatically.

Multiboot is an Plugin which allow user to install more then one image in usb or in hdd and user can use any image via plugin .. The solo boot is a small bin file(bootloader) which was used in vu solo model for accidental recovery. but currently in VU+ solo 2 they have changed architecture from boot to CFE file.

Yes after inserting usb or hdd u initialize it through E2 image which often format the usb in to ext2 or ext 3 linux base format extension . there u define its mount point also . Now the box configure it as 2nd flash and allow u to install any other image in it .. master image will be in flash and 2nd image in the usb or hdd .. if u know about daul boot receivers like spark 7111, 7162, Fortis 7819 nano pro and ofcourse ur one 2014 pro . the main concept behind these boxes has taken from this theory and they made it daul boot boxes . but Dm is multiboot more then 2 images some one was telling me that he has 12 images in his hdd .. but i m not that sharp i use only 5 to 6 major images .
