NSS6 at Jeddah

yesterday, i had installed NSS6 on 240cm dish. Just got 32 signals. which brought 115 channels. These signals are not stable.
i got 240cm dish from one of my friend that is also old one.
Just want to know followng

due to old dish signal can be weak?
Shall i clean the dish and color it. will it increase the signals?
is there any other way to increase the signals

I GOT THE SIGNAL OF NSS6 ON 2.4M. 32% SIGNAL ARE COMING. 148 CHANNELS CAME.
DAY TIME MOST OF CHANNELS HAS NO SIGNAL BUT NIGHT TIME WORKING FINE.
ANY SOLUTION?
