I did some security chip experiences from a original solo, and solo2 motherboard, placed it to a adapter, and pretty strange and interesting to see that a security chip from an original motherboard, placed on a clone motherboard, thus instead of the clone chip, using this 6 pins chip, it just works with the clone software, but not with the original software.
Most likely because of the fpga chip because when I place this original chip (solo or solo2) on a solo clone box, it just work with clones and original image files.
However, this original security chip does not works with a duo.
And so, it's not really a replacement for the VuJ chip because this is suitable for all the receivers but it's an interesting finding that these small smd sot23-6 is the security chips for the original Vu box receivers.
In any case, it was a interesting experiment and discovery and like to share this information
