Hi, in DM800 I was getting agc value of 99%, in solo2 it is 62% and in uno its 45%, i want to know higher value is good or lower? some people say higher, some say lower, got confused

I try to Explain this,

Many receivers have this feature called AGC (Advanced Gain Control) and this function amplifies the weak signals too much so they vanish. Much like if you were to raise the volume on your stereo so much that it became distortion. Some receivers do this better and so this perform as better.

Ultimately, it is the software of the receiver that affects how well AGC is used and you are lucky if have a STB with good software

I got AGC of 99% on Dish HD 100E and on vu solo2 and vu uno i got 43% so which one is batter 43% or 99%?

You did not answer my earlier post, by which AGC , you have better Signals strength ?
