India's tour of South Africa

India have a tough assignment coming up as they play three ODIs and two Tests in South Africa, from December 5 to 30.
The series commences with the first One-Day International on December 5, in Johannesburg.
While Mahendra Singh Dhoni's team is the reigning World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy winners, South Africa is the No. 1 team in the Test format and looking to continue its domination at home against the visitors.


Team India is riding high, having recently beaten the West Indies in both the Test and ODI series at home, while South Africa lost at home to Pakistan 1-2 in the ODI series.
India will be looking to win its first Test series in South Africa, having drawn the previous one played in the Rainbow nation in 2010-11.
The two-Test series begins on December 18, at Johannesburg.
