I had a skylight over my staircase that started leaking during spring rains, and I initially thought the window itself was bad, but turns out it was the flashing around it. ID Roof Company came out and diagnosed it on the first visit, then returned with a proper Velux-compatible flashing kit to seal it up. They didn’t try to sell me a full skylight replacement, which I appreciated.
