Golden Brown set to score first

Ben Coley and Matt Brocklebank combine to preview Saturday's Premier League games with Brown Ideye tipped to find the net.

Peter Crouch to score any time v Aston Villa at 11/4

Chelsea to win by exactly one goal v Burnley at 100/30

Brown Ideye to score first v Sunderland at 7/1

Fellaini to score and Man Utd to win at 6/1
PRICE BOOST: Chelsea, Arsenal & Man United treble 5/1 from 3/1!

Aston Villa v Stoke City (1500 GMT)

Something had to change after Aston Villa dropped into the relegation zone following a 2-0 defeat against Hull last week and in theory a home clash against Stoke offers a wonderful opportunity to kick-start a Villa revival on Tim Sherwood's first full game in charge. I don't buy into the theory that his mere presence in the stands inspired Sunday's 2-1 FA Cup win over Leicester but reports suggest he managed a half-time team talk and the players, especially those brought back into the team having been ignored by Paul Lambert in recent weeks, were obviously eager to impress. They got the job done in a scrappy affair and a similar story looks likely here, with under 2.5 goals to be scored worthy of consideration even around the 8/13 mark. Sherwood prided himself on his win strike-rate while at the Spurs helm and the layers offer 7/4 against him picking up all three points against Stoke. But there's unlikely to be an instant transformation in their fortune as, barring Christian Benteke, they simply don't have enough quality in the final third, scoring twice in their last 10 top-flight outings. The big Belgian has a good record against the Potters with two in three previous meetings, but he's a skinny price to hit the target on recent evidence, especially in relation to Stoke's main hitman. Peter Crouch has scored in Stoke's last three games, two of which came away from the Britannia, and also found the net in the corresponding fixture at Villa Park last March. He's worth a small investment at 11/4 in what promises to be a tight match; if he were to miss the game owing to a minor concern around his fitness, we'd get our money back anyway.
