ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has ordered to auction 3G license within 15 days.
A three judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case pertaining to appointments of Directors and members in Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and auction of 3G license.
During the proceedings, the court remarked that the country was faced with revenuelosses in the absence of 3G license.
Later, the court ordered to conduct transparent auction of 3G license within 15 days, and the appointments of PTA Chairman and its members as well.
