you mean clean istall win-8.1 or 10 yes sir ?

clean install is preferred by formatting drive C only.
Windows 10 x64 would be more suitable. After installation windows ,all drivers will be installed automatically.
other wise DRP dvd is the best for drivers installation.

in win 8 u shuld set system partition on 350mb not 100mb

Windows 10 reserves 500mb space for system partition whereas Windows 8 or 8.1 reserves 350mb space for system partition.

Finely i installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit it's very fast and stable .

windows xp sp2 is faster than se7en.

windows 7 takes more time in booting as compare to Windows 8.1 or 10.
Windows 7 needs an AV to be installed but windows 8.1 and later doesn't need to install third party antivirus.
Windows defender works fine without making OS slower.
In overall windows 8 or later OS are more stable and fast.

Go for win10 slim very or 8.1 slim ver, much faster then 7, and antivirus as you allready have nod is fast and best

Use Genuine Windows and try to avoid patch &cracks for other programs your system will run well
