Shabir ki dish koi itni quality wali to hoti nahi hai . Mere pass multan ki jo local dish us ka result us se kehin acha hai ... Log yehan lakeer ke faqeer hain . Shabir ki dish ko popular karnay main un users ka ziada hath hai . jo har forum par good post . nice post karny hi atay hain
Dear Masood i already described the procedure for determine the length of supporting rods in my post above. Let me explain a little bit more, Top of the stick means position of the feed horn from there you measure the length with the help of inches tape to the point where you want to fix the supporting rod on your dish. Once you got the length say 50in then add some 2 or 3 inches more to that and cut the rod. I hope you got the point

I already prepared new rods according to your kind advice i,e 56" total length and after bending from hole to hole exact 54" but didn't check yet ,will check as I got spare time

focal length already mentioned in above post that is less than 48inches...may be after installing new rods the required measurement could be gained.

installed new rods of 54 inches excluding holes ,signals improved a little but the depth is increased now I,e 49 inches.....I think rods length should be decreased so that depth could come to standard according to formula I,e 48 inches.

Dear Masood, no need to decrease the length of the supporting rods , you know the focal point calculated from formula is theoretically 100% correct but physically not. What i meant to say it is not possible to manufacture an ideal Dish. There are minor dents on the surface and also curve of the parabola cannot be made 100% accurate. So to overcome all these problems there is 2 to 3 inches of adjustment in the feed horn,from there you can adjust LNB .

the LNB which I'm using ATM is of Fuji company with builtin feed horn.
Does it need another feed horn ?

Dear Masood, by looking your LNB i suggest these steps.
1, Place adjustment ring in the center of adjustment space.
2, Measure the distance between feed entering point and center of the dish, and if it is equal to the focal length then all is ok and your feed is at the focal point.
3, If the distance is not equal the focal length then need to adjust the supporting rods length.
Once feed entering point is at the focal point then you can make slight adjustment with the help of (Adjustment ring)
