how to run IPTV for the fisrt time

Asslam o Alekum Respected Senior Members,
hope you all will be fine. i am a new user on this forum, and got very knowledge about dish receivers and cccam clines. now i want to use IPTV, i have install vlc and downloaded a free playlist but not working, anyone can guide me how to configure or run the playlist on VLC player. Thank you in advance :) :)
