i have upgraded my so called Harmonium (DM900) with Dreambox One. I wanted to share my experience with DM1 with all of you.
Here are some of my findings.
Physical Looks
1. Its very compact. You can put it even in your jeans back pockets

2. Remote Control Unit is very different from older DM900/920 RCUs. Some people hate it but i got used to it and now i think its a good RCU
upgrade.
3. Due to very compact size, if you have bigger hands you will find it difficult to put USB devices, HDMI cables in its ports.
4. It can be installed horizontally (like every other receiver) and vertically stand-up position with the help of small plastic stand provided with it.
Software Experience:
1. Biggest difference of all. It has Amlogic o S922X processor instead of Broadcom, it can tune all the C-Band channels having low symbol rate than
2000 on Paksat.
2. One thing that you will notice instantly....its very fast (more than three times faster then DM920) due to its hexa-core processor. Menu scrolling, switching from 4K to HD channels, all are very snappy.
3. Booting time is 20seconds (from cold to channel play) its equal to DM900. Tested on FTA channels on DreamOS2.6
4. It does not have a stable image even from Dreambox themselves so there are some software related bugs but they are getting fixed regularly.
5. I didn't find any difference in HD Channels quality in DM1 and DM900.
6. SD channels looks a little bit more refined, vibrant than DM900.
7. Didn't find any difference in 4K channels as well.
8. Androind by Dream-ELite can be installed on SD-Card, which is very welcoming, seeing android on a Dreambox, but it does not have tuner app Yet,
so you can only use android for IPTV and streming apps like Netflix, Amazon and other android based applications.
9. Necessary Apps (Dream o Sat Cam Manager, OSCam, NCam, BarryAllen) which are actually made for OE2.5 works well on OE2.6
I have also bought Sandisk Class10 U3 card of 32GB capacity having 95MB/s read/write speeds for BarryAllen purposes.
These are all my initial experiences. Will update if i found any thing new here in future.
Here are some pictures thanks/lord.
