ARD/ZDF to show all World Cup games live

German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will screen all 64 games of the Football World Cup 2014 in Brazil between June 12 and July 13 live.

The moderators will present the World Cup programmes from a joint ARD/ZDF studio on a roof terrace at the Copacabana in Rio.

ZDF will kick off the World Cup coverage on June 12 with the opening ceremony and the opening match between Brazil and Croatia. The final game will be shown by ARD’s Das Erste channel on July 13.

ARD’s radio stations will cover the events in Brazil around the clock. The websites of ARD and ZDF will accompany the World Cup for the first time with live-streams of all games, additional camera angles and multimedia offerings.
