With a motive to spread its presence in the regional news market, TV 18 Group-owned ETV News Network is palaning to bring Punjabi news channel.

Earlier on 24th March the group had brought a regional Hindi news channel for Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

ETV will be officially launching its eighth news channel ETV Haryana/Himachal on 27th March, 2014 in Gurgaon. The news network has launched a common channel for both the states as Hindi is their common language.
