in the past we were only able to set a picture to background. but now we can also set a video as wallpaper with this little trick.Today i’m going to show you how to set video as wallpaper in windows .This trick is so easy.This trick can be done by using vlc media player.This trick is works on windows 7 as well as in windows xp.

How to set video as wallpaper:
Step 1: First of all download and install VLC media player.
Step 2: Open VLC Media Player.
Step 3: After opening, Go to Tools>Preference OR press CRTL + P and click on Video from left side.
Step 4: Then click on output dropdown menu and select DirectXvideo from dropdown list.See below picture for help.
Step 5: Now click on save button and restart the VLC media Player
Step 6: Now play that video which you want to set as wallpaper.
Step 7: After playing, click on Video and select DirectX wallpaper from the dropdown list.See below picture for help:
Step 8: Now minimize you VLC Media Player and you will see your video running on desktop as wallpaper.
Step 9: If you want to remove this video and get your background wallpaper back then justuncheck the DirectX wallpaper from video dropdown l
