LNB For Sun Direct SD & HD

Post by OmMeE »

Asalamoalaikum

Can anyone please confirm do we need 2 lnb's for Sun direct sd & hd or will one KU BAND LNB work for both SD & HD?

Also, while alignment should the dish be set at 93.5 East or 91.5E to receive both SD & HD?

My apologies if this has already been covered here. I searched for it but did not find a thread.

Thank you.

On One LNB you can get 91E and 93.5E I did it in the past but sun direct hd 93.5E Horizontal Tps are very weak.
So it could be difficult to get h tps of sun direct hd in case u get them u will get h tps only at night/evening time

Set the dish at 93e first and then allign the lnb in such a way that u should get 91e on it (move the lnb a little right)
Starsat 2000 Extreme HD
Starsat 2000 Hyper HD

Sony KD49X8500B
Shabir 8-Feet Motorized (With Auto Positioner)
Coverage:-115E To 3.1E

Fixed=105E(C),95E+93.5E(KU),91.5E(C),38.5E(C+KU),26E(KU),13E(KU),9E(KU)

Thank you for replying.

Currently I'm using a monoblock LNB and 2.5 feet dish. I've set it for receiving Sun HD and Dish tv SD. Receive all Horizontal signals 61-63% quality 24/7.

I have another 2 feet rs.600 waali dish with a ku band LNB rs.300 - Thats set at Dish tv SD atm. I want to set that dish for sun direct SD & HD.

BTW, receivers company server will work for Sun direct SD right?
