Default company server channel and satellite list help

Hi friends. I need ur help regarding information of default server of a receiver. How can i check the satellite list and channel list of a dish receiver. For example i want to ppurchase starsat 2000 hyper. But first i want to know how many satellies it supports by default and how many channels are working in this receiver. Information is quite deepily technical. But i want ur support friens. I hope some one will help me
